HYBRID: Must work ONSITE MON-THUR / 40 Hours

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Systems Analyst/Developer to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting Parts Applications projects. This individual will partner with Project Managers and technical teams to analyze business requirements, design and develop solutions, provide production support, and deliver enhancements throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This role includes both project development and production support responsibilities.
What You'll Be Working On:
Production support for existing enterprise applications.
New development and enhancement projects for Parts Applications.
Technical analysis, solution design, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing support.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Gathering business and functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Designing, testing (unit, integration, system, user acceptance), documenting and implementing
Projects ranging from small enhancements (100+ hours) to large enterprise initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the enterprise to deliver high-quality solutions.
Support production applications by troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Defining architectural solutions to meet application requirements.
Typical Work Allocation
30 40% Analysis & Design
30 40% Development (code, unit test, int test, system test, UAT, Implement, Warranty)
20 40% Solution Architecture & Technical Design
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Recent/Strong experience with COBOL, CICS, JCL, IMS, VSAM and DB2
Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience designing, developing, and implementing medium to large-scale enterprise applications.
Working knowledge of software engineering, software development and solution architecture, implemented medium to large scale systems across multiple platforms
Ability to work across multiple platforms and collaborate with technical and business teams with technology strategy, technology standards, roadmaps, and practices.
Understanding of enterprise technology environments, including infrastructure, networking, client/server architecture, and emerging technologies.
Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall development environments.
DESIRED SKILLS
Experience with Angular.
Experience supporting Automotive Parts, Warehousing, or Supply Chain applications.
Knowledge of enterprise architecture standards, technology roadmaps, and best practices.
Experience with Microsoft development technologies, such as .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC and C#
