Summary
- Framework Development: Build, maintain, and scale AI governance frameworks that enforce organizational policies, data privacy guidelines, and ethical standards.
- Roadmap & Intake Triage: Evaluate new AI use cases and roadmap initiatives, executing risk-intake and tiering processes to categorize and review AI deployments .
- Risk & Compliance Assessment: Conduct ongoing risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities, algorithmic bias, and compliance gaps within AI workflows.
- Lifecycle Monitoring: Support pre-deployment testing and post-deployment monitoring of AI tools, making recommendations for optimization or discontinuation.
- Regulatory Monitoring: Track emerging AI laws and regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, GDPR), updating standard operating procedures to maintain readiness.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with IT, Cybersecurity, Legal, and Privacy teams to embed AI governance natively into enterprise workflows and employee training .
- Vendor & Third-Party Oversight: Evaluate third-party AI vendors and platforms to ensure they meet internal legal, security, and ethical requirements before adoption .
- Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Law, Public Policy, Risk Management, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Experience in IT governance, compliance, cybersecurity, or data strategy, with proven exposure to AI/ML technologies.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of machine learning lifecycles, data privacy principles, and cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
- Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex technical concepts and technical AI research into actionable business rules, decision trees, and non-technical policies.
- Analytical Thinking: Demonstrated ability to quantify risks, assess likelihood vs. impact, and build structural risk registers
