As an Intern, you will support various project sites performing project management, document control, and collaborating with safety personnel and field operations. Interns will receive the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience and guidance while establishing professional contacts in the industry.
Essential Functions - Support highway heavy/civil construction site, project management or estimating
- Assist with document control, submittals, monthly billing
- Assist with field operations, safety or environment requirements
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications - Pursuing a degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
- Current college junior or senior status
- Experience working on civil or other construction site(s) desired
- Computer literate in Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Outlook
- Strong organizational, written, verbal and time management skills
- Good attention to detail and the ability to recognize discrepancies
- Have a positive attitude and excellent self-motivational skills
- Ability to perform under schedule restraints
- Good time management skills
- Must have a valid driver's license
Working Conditions- Location - This project is located in Farmington, New Mexico. Subsequent projects will be nationally based.
- Travel - This role will be expected to travel to project locations and regional offices.
- Construction site environment - physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb. Exposed to high noise levels.
