SQL Developer/DBA - Azure

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a SQL Developer/DBA - Azure, where you''ll design and optimize database systems for seamless data integration and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain robust data models that meet application and business requirements.
• Optimize database indexing strategies for efficient query performance.
• Manage and maintain Azure SQL databases, ensuring high reliability and security.
• Develop and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory for effective data transformation.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment to develop secure and scalable data solutions.
• Monitor database performance to proactively identify and address potential issues.
• Integrate with Azure Data Lake Storage to support dynamic data storage and analytics.
• Provide mentorship and ensure consistent adherence to database governance policies.

Skills

• Proven expertise as a SQL Developer/DBA with strong skills in stored procedures and performance tuning.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake Storage, and data integration.
• Proficiency in managing Azure Data Factory pipelines and database sharding concepts.
• Experience using SQL dacpac projects for efficient database deployment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional team setting.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for managing deployment pipelines.
• Any relevant Microsoft Azure certifications.
