Summary

job summary:

We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Technical Support Specialist to join our clinical research team. In this pivotal, participant-facing role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end technical onboarding of study participants. You will ensure that all mobile hardware and wearable technology are configured to exact specifications, enabling high-quality data collection and a seamless experience for study contributors.

salary: $28 - 32 per hour

work hours: 8am to 5pm

responsibilities:

  • Provide expert onsite technical assistance to participants during scheduled clinical visits.
  • Facilitate the porting of participant mobile services to the required study platform with precision.
  • Execute the configuration and pairing of Apple Watch wearables with participant mobile devices.
  • Oversee the installation and calibration of proprietary applications and system settings.
  • Perform rigorous verification of device connectivity, real-time data synchronization, and overall hardware functionality.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical impediments related to mobile operating systems and wearable hardware.
  • Document all setup completions and technical discrepancies in accordance with study protocols.
  • Deliver formal instructions and technical guidance to participants to ensure competent device utilization.
  • Maintain strict adherence to organizational data privacy standards, security mandates, and clinical study protocols.




qualifications:

0-2 years of relevant experience in technical support, clinical research coordination, or a related field.


Prior experience supporting clinical research or healthcare technology environments is highly preferred.


Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems troubleshooting mobile phones (iOS/Android) and wearable technology.


Exceptional customer service and participant-facing communication skills.


Proven ability to multitask and maintain meticulous attention to detail in a high-stakes environment.
