Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced PNC Rating Mechanism Lead to own the design, development, and implementation of enterprise rating solutions within the PNC domain. This role will be responsible for building scalable rating frameworks, managing product models, and leading rating engine integrations across core insurance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of rating mechanisms and product model enhancements within the PNC domain.

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize rate books, rate tables, and rating routines to support business and regulatory requirements.

  • Partner with business analysts, product owners, and solution architects to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

  • Integrate the rating engine with downstream and upstream systems including billing, claims, policy administration, and external rating services.

  • Drive unit testing, regression testing, documentation, and configuration change management.

  • Ensure all configurations comply with PNC best practices, governance standards, and version upgrade protocols.

  • Lead technical ownership of rating frameworks and support enterprise-scale deployments.

  • Support production issues, enhancements, and performance optimization initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in PNC domain rating solutions.

  • Strong expertise in PNC Rating Engine and rating mechanism programming.

  • Experience with rating frameworks and integration frameworks.

  • Solid understanding of insurance domain architectures and rating models.

  • Proven experience integrating rating engines with enterprise platforms.

  • Proficiency with Git, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Strong knowledge of SOAP/REST APIs, messaging systems, and enterprise integrations.

  • Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments with complex system landscapes.

  • Strong documentation, testing, and configuration governance practices.
