Senior Cloud-Based Endpoint Management Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud-Based Endpoint Management Engineer to support enterprise endpoint engineering and operations initiatives. This role requires deep technical expertise in endpoint management platforms, mobile device management (MDM), enterprise mobility solutions, and modern workplace technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, experience managing Apple and Microsoft ecosystems, and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams to resolve complex technology challenges.

Work Environment

  • Occasional after-hours, weekend, or overtime support may be required
  • Contract position with potential for extension based on business needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced Tier 2/Tier 3 support for enterprise endpoint devices and services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex endpoint management and mobile device issues.
  • Design, develop, and deploy configuration profiles, security policies, compliance controls, and application management solutions for mobile devices using enterprise MDM platforms.
  • Design, develop, and deploy configuration profiles, security policies, compliance controls, and application management solutions for macOS devices using endpoint management platforms.
  • Support productivity and collaboration technologies, including Microsoft 365 applications and services.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application, and business teams to identify and resolve technical challenges.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance technical documentation, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Participate in endpoint modernization, mobility, and digital workplace initiatives.
  • Assist with system improvements, platform optimization, and operational efficiency efforts.

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 7+ years of overall Information Technology experience.
  • 5+ years providing desktop or endpoint support using IT service management platforms (ServiceNow or similar).
  • 3+ years deploying, configuring, and supporting iOS and iPadOS devices in enterprise environments.
  • 3+ years administering Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) solutions such as Microsoft Intune, Jamf, or comparable platforms.
  • 5+ years supporting enterprise business applications, including Microsoft 365 products and services.

Technical Skills

  • Strong networking fundamentals with advanced VPN troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
  • Experience administering endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune, Jamf, Apple Business Manager, or similar technologies.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language, including PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, Swift, or equivalent.
  • Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), certificates, and authentication integrations.
  • Familiarity with software development kits (SDKs) and mobile application integrations.
  • Experience managing Linux systems through command-line interfaces and terminal environments.
  • Working knowledge of DevSecOps and IT operations tools, including platforms such as Splunk, GitLab, or similar technologies.

Professional Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to document technical issues, solutions, and processes clearly and effectively.
  • Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation and operational procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Visio, and Project.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor''''''''s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Industry certifications related to endpoint management, desktop support, Microsoft technologies, Apple technologies, or IT operations.
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Mobile application development experience.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise endpoint environments.
