Position Summary
We are seeking a senior SAP AFS / S/4HANA Solution Architect with deep expertise in SAP Apparel & Footwear Solution (AFS) and strong experience across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
The ideal candidate will provide architecture leadership for an existing SAP landscape while supporting future S/4HANA transformation initiatives. This role combines strategic architecture, solution design, production support, and hands-on SAP expertise.
The architect will work closely with AMS teams, functional and technical resources, business stakeholders, and enterprise architecture teams to ensure SAP solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with long-term business and technology objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide SAP architecture leadership across SAP ECC, AFS, and S/4HANA environments.
Serve as a senior architecture advisor to SAP AMS delivery teams.
Review and provide guidance on solution designs, enhancements, custom developments, and technical approaches.
Support SAP roadmap planning and future S/4HANA transformation initiatives.
Provide guidance on SAP AFS-specific processes, solutions, customizations, and best practices.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to develop scalable and supportable SAP solutions.
Assist with complex production issues, technical problem resolution, and root cause analysis.
Conduct architecture and solution reviews to improve SAP quality, stability, and maintainability.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and SAP delivery teams.
Mentor SAP resources on architecture standards, solution design, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of SAP experience with significant Solution Architect or senior technical leadership responsibilities.
Deep hands-on expertise with SAP AFS (Apparel & Footwear Solution).
Strong experience with SAP ECC architecture, implementation, and support.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, support, or architecture.
Strong SAP integration architecture experience.
Experience working in SAP AMS / application support environments.
Strong understanding of SAP custom development and enhancement landscapes.
Excellent solution design, architecture governance, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Strong client-facing consulting experience.
