Position : Funds and Grants Management Consultant for a Distribution Account
Location : Remote with Travel to Washington 
 

 

Job Description:

 

Engagement

  • Contract role on a large SAP S/4HANA transformation for a major U.S. passenger rail client.

 

Role in one line

  • Designs and configures how the client tracks budgets and manages federal and state grants in S/4HANA.

 

Main Responsibilities 

  • Run design workshops with finance users
  • Configure and test Funds Management and Grants Management
  • Support data migration and integration with FI/CO and Project System
  • Write functional specs and support testing and go-liveS/4 

 

Must-have skills

  • SAP Funds Management (FM)
  • SAP Grants Management (GM)
  • Budgeting and availability control
  • Grant lifecycle: award, billing, reporting, closeout

 

Nice to have skills

  • Federal grants experience (e.g. FRA, FTA)
  • Public sector or transportation background
  • Experience with Fiori apps

 

Experience

  • 8+ years SAP, with at least 2 full S/4HANA implementations

 

Certification

  • SAP certification is a plus
