Role Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Federal G-Invoicing Integration Specialist is to conceive and execute technical solutions for the integration of an agency's Oracle EBS system with the U.S. Treasury's G-Invoicing platform. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient intragovernmental transaction (IGT) processes between the agency’s financial systems and the central Treasury platform. The professional will engage in creating technical designs, system interfaces, and extensions that support the seamless exchange of financial information in accordance with the Treasury and the respective agency's specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and ensure the operational functionality of EBS interfaces and extensions for linking to the G-Invoicing platform.
- Craft and manage outbound and inbound data integrations, which encompasses everything from message composition, data transformation, and mapping to validation, receipt confirmation, error management, and financial record synchronization within EBS modules.
- Create and refine scripts and program logic using PL/SQL, conceive concurrent programs, generate BI Publisher/XML components, and implement middleware solutions (Oracle SOA Suite, web services, etc.).
- Establish diligent monitoring mechanisms and maintain audit-compliant logs.
- Aid in various testing phases and the transition of systems into live production.
- Facilitate the resolution of any post-implementation issues, upholding strict adherence to federal security regulations and compliance standards (e.g., ATO, FISMA).
Qualifications & Capabilities:
- Expert-level proficiency with ETL processes.
- Extensive experience with Oracle E-Business Suite functionality and architecture.
- Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal IT security and compliance regulations is highly desirable.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail, particularly concerning data integrity and system synchronicity.
- Capacity to collaborate effectively with financial and functional stakeholders, integration specialists, and external entities to guarantee compliant and punctual IGT operations via the G-Invoicing system.
