Job Title: Sr. GIS Developer/Systems Analyst - HYBRID
Location: Towson, Maryland
Type: Contract
Compensation: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote
Hours: 40.0 per week
Responsibilities
- Perform application development and support activities for the Office of Information Technology’s GIS Program, including development and maintenance of ArcGIS Server applications
- Assist with GIS application upgrades and support of the ArcGIS Server environment
- Work with ArcGIS Web AppBuilder and interface with CityWorks
- Support configuration efforts in CityWorks and GIS web services used for CityWorks Repair
- Upgrade existing Facilities toolsets and utility toolsets written in Visual C# using Visual Studio 2010 with ArcObjects SDK 10.1
- Develop and modify applications using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, and Python
- Maintain strong knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server, APIs, Web AppBuilder, Collector, ArcSDE, and ArcGIS Mobile
- Utilize ArcGIS Model Builder and Python for automation and analysis
- Analyze program and production problems and develop reports using SSRS
- Work with relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server, applying SQL queries, triggers, and stored procedures
Requirements- Minimum of five (5) years developing and modifying applications using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, and Python
- Experience with ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server, APIs, Web AppBuilder, Collector, ArcSDE, and ArcGIS Mobile
- Experience with ArcGIS Model Builder and Python scripting
- Strong knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), including triggers and stored procedures
- Experience analyzing program and production issues and developing reports with SSRS
- Strong understanding of relational database concepts, with preference for Oracle or SQL Server
- Excellent communication skills
- Possession of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, plus five years’ experience in systems analysis, change management, project management, or related fields
- Engagement with a government entity is preferred
