Role Summary

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager for the Alternatives segment with experience in the asset management industry, specifically in the delivery of investment management platforms and investment portals.

The candidate should have experience working with alternatives and driving end-to-end delivery of platform and portal programs, coordinating business, product, engineering, data, and vendor teams through planning, build, release, and adoption.

Skill Sets

1. Technical Skill Set

• Delivery of web-based investment portals and investment management platforms into production

• Working knowledge of APIs and integration patterns

• Understanding of data models and data pipelines

• Experience with cloud-based deployment

• Familiarity with platform security, entitlements, and Single Sign-On (SSO) for client-facing portals

• Exposure to automation and AI/agentic capabilities applied within platforms is a plus

• Comfortable participating in technical discussions with architects and engineering teams

• Ability to challenge estimates and technical designs

2. Domain Understanding Skill Set

• Experience working in the asset management industry, within or serving the alternatives segment

• Experience with private equity, private credit, hedge funds, and real assets

• Experience delivering investment management platforms and investment portals and their workflows in an alternatives context

• Ability to engage credibly with alternatives business and product stakeholders on platform and portal requirements

3. Delivery & Project Management Skill Set

• Proven program management experience across multi-workstream and multi-vendor technology programs

• Experience managing distributed onshore/offshore teams

• Strong planning, milestone, and dependency management skills

• Experience with RAID management

• Budget tracking and management

• Executive status reporting

• Experience with Agile, SAFe, and hybrid delivery models

• Release management, cutover, and hypercare experience

• Clear and concise communication with senior stakeholders

• Ability to drive decisions and manage trade-offs

• PMP, PgMP, or SAFe certification preferred

Education

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

• MBA preferred
