Summary

Genesis10 is currently seeking a SEO Professional - Remote position with a Renowned Healthcare Organization located in Rochester, MN. This is a 9+ month contract opportunity.

Compensation: $65.00 - 66.00 per hour, W2.


This position calls for an experienced and talented SEO professional to support the development, execution, and ongoing optimization of the SEO strategy for multiple domains, subdomains, and mobile apps. The successful candidate will collaborate with IT teams, monitor SEO tools to identify issues, and stay current on Google algorithm changes and best practices to support overall SEO health.

Supports critical MCHS Organic & AI Search marketing efforts via execution and cross-functional delivery across the product lifecycle. In addition, this role assists with client.org pre-release QA validation, HE&CS support and enterprise local SEO management.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the development, execution and ongoing optimization of the SEO strategy for multiple domains, subdomains and mobile apps
  • Develop and prioritize implementation of SEO recommendations for designated domains and subdomains
  • Collaborate with IT and vendor teams in support of SEO initiatives and drive early integration of SEO requirements into the web development process
  • Monitor Google Webmaster and other SEO tools to identify and investigate existing or emerging issues that may have a negative impact on SEO
  • Develop performance dashboards, analytics metrics, and KPIs; deliver project analysis, monthly recaps, and other routine reports
  • Work with 3rd party consultants/vendors, leveraging various internal and external analytics tools to measure and report upon performance
  • Troubleshoot and identify technical or quality-related issues that might be affecting the overall organic traffic and rankings
  • Set goals and develop plans to execute against goals
  • Stay on top of Google algorithm changes and evolving best practices to support SEO health
  • Support backlinking and other strategic programs as requested by the SEO Manager
  • Produce detailed functional requirements documents for onsite search enhancements
  • Work collaboratively with Digital Analytics, SEO, Creative Media (UX), Web Operations, IT, PMO, and Ontology teams to establish and implement taxonomy, data standards, guidelines, and best practices to optimize search relevance
Requirements:
  • Minimum BS/BA in Computer Science, Marketing or other degree
  • 3 years of agency experience or managing enterprise SEO campaigns
  • 3 years experience with SEM and SEO
  • Experience developing and implementing SEO strategies, conducting technical audits and SEO problem solving
  • 3 years experience leading projects in a complex environment
  • 3 years experience in SEO content development/management within a digital setting
  • 3 years experience with Digital Analytics and/or quantitative analysis skills
  • 3 years experience conducting keyword research, link acquisition, content promotion and utreach
  • 3 years of SEO technical experience including site performance optimization, structured data and A/B testing
  • Strong understanding of SEM, Social Media and eCommerce
  • Expert in utilizing SEO tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, Conductor, Google AdWords, Screaming frog or other SEO tools
  • Advanced experience with Google Analytics 360 and Google Search Console
  • Experience working with CMS environments such as Sitecore and WordPress
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration
  • High level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
  • Ability to initiate and drive projects, tenacity to deliver results in a complex environment and to manage work across multiple projects
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical plans and reporting solutions
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to work independently
  • Must be self-motivated
Desired skills:
  • A minimum of 2 years managing SEO at the enterprise level
  • SQL and big data mining experience
  • SEO certification a plus
  • 7+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with demonstrated success leading SEO strategy for enterprise or complex brands.
  • Perform ongoing performance analysis and diagnostics to understand what is driving (or limiting) discovery.
  • Experience with website migrations or large-scale redesigns; ensuring SEO best practices are incorporated from planning through post launch validation, including site architecture, content mapping, redirect strategy, and search performance continuity.
  • Supported multi-location SEO efforts, including local landing page optimization, Google Business Profile management
  • Deep understanding of: Technical SEO fundamentals, On-page optimization, and schema
  • Content-driven discovery
  • The evolving role of AI in search and answers.
  • Experience working in the weeds with data using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Python, Google Search Console, and other common reporting platforms.
  • SEO Tools: Familiarity with SEO and keyword research tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, GSC), Adobe Analytics (Customer Journey Analytics), Yext, Botify and Screaming Frog.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate a clear POV.
