Job DescriptionWe are seeking a DevOps / Platform Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers responsible for operating, evolving, and scaling the MSP platform. In this role, you will define priorities and roadmaps aligned to organizational goals, ensure high availability and operational excellence, and partner closely with internal SaaS teams to improve developer experience and platform adoption.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities- Lead and develop a ~10-person team of developers and operators responsible for Kubernetes platform operations and platform engineering.
- Own platform reliability and operational health (availability, performance, incident response, problem management, and on-call practices).
- Establish / maintain development and operational standards.
- Partner with GIU application teams to understand needs, manage intake/prioritization, and improve developer workflows and self-service.
- Ensure security and compliance requirements are met through secure-by-default platform patterns (identity, secrets, supply chain controls, vulnerability management, policy-as-code).
- Provide clear status reporting and strategic input to senior leadership on technical direction, risks, and talent needs.
A strong candidate will- Have experience operating and scaling Kubernetes platforms (ideally multi-tenant) and supporting production workloads.
- Be familiar with public cloud operations; OCI experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrate strong people leadership: hiring, coaching, performance management, and building a healthy engineering culture.
- Be comfortable balancing reliability, feature delivery, and customer needs using data-driven prioritization.
- Translate product strategy into clear, executable roadmaps; communicate effectively across engineering and leadership.
- Guide shared architecture decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, security, and cost effectiveness.
