Ecommerce Team Lead

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Ecommerce Team Lead in Doraville, GA.

Overview:
We are hiring a hands-on Solution Architect & Senior Full Stack Team Lead who is an expert across the stack-front end, back end, and platform. This leader pairs deep technical execution with strong business-facing skills to design, build, and scale our ecommerce ecosystem. You will lead by doing: setting architecture direction, writing, and reviewing code, unblocking complex integrations, and guiding onshore-offshore teams to deliver outcomes rapidly. The role spans headless web APIs, Adobe CMS (AEM), ERP Integration, ecommerce platforms (Shopify/Adobe Commerce), payments (Stripe/Shopify Gateway), and sales use tax engines.

Roles and Responsibilities:
* Hands On Engineering: Own the end-to-end Ecommerce Engineering Role: web, APIs, integrations, data flows, observability, and security
* Ecommerce, ERP & Tax Integrations: Integrate ERP for order to cash, pricing, inventory, shipping, returns; Implement sales and use tax integrations (Avalara/Vertex/Sovos) across checkout, invoicing, returns; Handle exemptions and reconciliation with Finance; Orchestrate flows across Shopify/Adobe Commerce, PIM/DAM, payment gateways (Stripe/FiServ), search, and martech
* Web, CMS & Front-End: Architect AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) for Sites, Assets, Headless (Content Services/GraphQL); Define integration patterns with ecommerce and caching strategies
* Back-End, APIs & Platform: Define REST/GraphQL contracts, API gateways, webhook/event models, authentication/authorization; Champion cloud-native delivery: AWS/Azure; Implement observability
* Leadership, Delivery & Stakeholder Engagement: Lead onshore-offshore squads; Mentor engineers; set coding standards, code review rigor; Partner with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations; Translate business goals into roadmaps and architectural decisions with clear tradeoffs

REQUIREMENTS:
* 10+ years in software engineering with 8+ years in solution architecture for ecommerce or high scale digital products

Proven hands-on expertise across:
* Front end/Web: JavaScript, React, Next.js, TypeScript, performance and accessibility best practices
* Back end/APIs: CMS: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)-Sites, Assets, Headless/ personalization
* Ecommerce Platforms: Shopify and/or Adobe Commerce (Magento) customization and integrations
* Payments: Stripe, FinServ (or similar gateways) including PCI-aware designs
* ERP Integration: Order, pricing, fulfillment, returns
* Sales & Use Tax: Avalara/Vertex/Sovos configuration, exemptions, and reconciliation/reporting
* Cloud & DevOps: AWS/Azure/Heroku, CI/CD

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
