Project Manager-EPIC Implementation- Remote (AZ) Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager EPIC to lead and oversee Design Sprint Sessions for Epic EHR implementation and third-party application integrations. The Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional IT teams, vendors, infrastructure, and cybersecurity stakeholders to ensure timely completion of technical design sessions and seamless transition into build activities.

Design Sprints consist of two structured 90-minute sessions conducted over a two-week period. The goal is to finalize technical design approvals to enable immediate build execution following sprint completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage Design Sprint Sessions for Epic implementation and third-party integrations
Coordinate IT cross-functional teams including infrastructure and cybersecurity
Collaborate with vendors and client stakeholders to align on technical design requirements
Ensure final design sign-off to support immediate build phase execution
Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables
Ensure compliance with healthcare IT standards and regulatory requirements
Provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field
5 8+ years of project management experience in Healthcare IT
Strong experience managing Epic EHR implementations and third-party integrations
Solid understanding of healthcare IT standards, compliance, and best practices
Extensive knowledge of technical design processes
PMP or equivalent certification preferred
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Experience with project management tools and methodologies
