This role will fill day to daily break/fix incident response
on our SQL environment. Our SQL environment runs in a SQL Max platform hardware
solution, dedicated for SQL performance. The SQL version we are running range
from 2008 - 2019. We also have a small Oracle footprint, some experience in Oracle is great, but the primary focus will be SQL. Other
daily tasks may include utilized for running updates, restore, and recovery if
or when required.
We are looking to free up some work for our dedicated DBA
who is working primarily on project work and migrations. Currently working on a
SQL Mac migration project to move from an EOL hardware to a new solution.Required/Desired Skills
Skill Required/Desired Amount of Experience Administration and management of production databases Required 5.0 Years Basic to advanced troubleshooting skills. Required 5.0 Years Backup/recovery/monitoring of databases. Required 5.0 Years Communication within a team environment with peers as well as customer facing Required 5.0 Years Security assessment and review of database administration and access. Required 5.0 Years Design, configuration, deploying, troubleshooting, administration, and maintaining systems. Required 5.0 Years Ensuring project and workload documentation and process are accurate, on time, and stored properly Required 5.0 Years
