Job Title: Functional QA / Business Process Tester

Location: Memphis, TN; local and regional travel, with no overnight stays

Overview

We are seeking two Functional QA / Business Process Testers to test a custom enterprise software platform. The work focuses primarily on hands-on functional, regression, and end-to-end testing of complex business workflows. You will work through business scenarios and edge cases, document defects clearly, and manage testing activities in Jira. This role emphasizes manual testing rather than automation development.

Key Responsibilities

Execute functional, regression, and end-to-end tests across complex business processes.

Translate business workflows into test scenarios, including alternate paths and edge cases.

Identify and document defects clearly so the software team can understand and reproduce issues.

Track testing activities, results, and defects in Jira.

Validate that connected workflows function as expected across the enterprise platform.

Required Qualifications

Experience performing functional, regression, and end-to-end software testing.

Ability to understand complex business processes and evaluate multiple scenarios and edge cases.

Strong defect documentation skills, with clear descriptions of issues and steps to reproduce them.

Experience using Jira to manage testing activities and defects.

Ability to become productive quickly in a hands-on testing assignment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience testing transactional systems involving registrations, payments, recurring billing, customer accounts, or similar workflows.
