Position Summary Support manufacturing through CAD drawings, process improvements, 3D printing, tool testing, and mechanical troubleshooting. Requires strong design, communication, and time management skills.
Essential Functions:- Work with plant engineering to draw cellular manufacturing layouts
- Knowledge, understanding, and ability to manage 3D printers
- Use CAD to create process prints for manufacturing
- Create tooling drawings for various manufacturing processes
- Work with manufacturing and lean engineers on plant process improvement activities
- Complete tool testing
- Troubleshoot and fix complex mechanical systems
- Good understanding of design process
- Good understanding of creating assemblies and drawings complete with BOM
- Good project management and communication skills
- Able to work effectively independently and in a team setting
- Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications:- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Currently enrolled Sophomore, Junior, Senior or master's program student
- Majors: All mechanical engineering majors
- Microsoft Office proficiency
