Summary

Position Summary

Support manufacturing through CAD drawings, process improvements, 3D printing, tool testing, and mechanical troubleshooting. Requires strong design, communication, and time management skills.

Essential Functions:
  • Work with plant engineering to draw cellular manufacturing layouts
  • Knowledge, understanding, and ability to manage 3D printers
  • Use CAD to create process prints for manufacturing
  • Create tooling drawings for various manufacturing processes
  • Work with manufacturing and lean engineers on plant process improvement activities
  • Complete tool testing
  • Troubleshoot and fix complex mechanical systems
  • Good understanding of design process
  • Good understanding of creating assemblies and drawings complete with BOM
  • Good project management and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively independently and in a team setting
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Currently enrolled Sophomore, Junior, Senior or master's program student
  • Majors: All mechanical engineering majors
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
