We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role provides an exceptional opportunity to be part of a leading construction company, where you will play a key role in managing and executing construction projects from conception to completion. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to our high-quality standards. You will be working closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals, making this a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and career in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers to define project objectives, scope, and detailed plans to ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget.
- Prepare, review, and manage project documentation, including technical specifications, plans, and schedules.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure that all project requirements are met.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards.
- Manage and monitor project costs, ensuring that the project is completed within budget.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide technical advice and solve problems on site.
- Prepare project status reports and keep management, clients, and others informed of project status and related issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering in the construction industry.
- Proven experience in project management office (PMO) practices.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws and regulations.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
