Summary

 

The Technical Business Analyst sits within our front office technology team and partners closely 
with Portfolio Managers, Research Analysts, Sales & Distribution, Marketing, and other investment 
professionals to design and deliver innovative data, analytics, and AI-driven solutions. Our team is 
building the next generation of investment technology by leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power 
Automate, AI, and modern cloud technologies. You will play a key role in understanding business 
processes, analyzing enterprise data, identifying opportunities for automation, and helping deliver 
intelligent solutions that improve decision-making and productivity.  The ideal candidate is naturally 
curious, enjoys solving complex business problems through data, and wants to help shape the future 
of AI-enabled investment technology.Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:  


• Partner directly with business stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, 
and strategic objectives.  
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.  
• Analyze enterprise data using SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and other analytical tools to 
identify trends, insights, and business opportunities.  
• Design dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics solutions using Power BI.  
• Design and implement business workflow automation using Power Automate and related 
Microsoft Power Platform technologies.  
• Identify opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence to improve business processes, 
automate workflows, enhance reporting, and deliver intelligent user experiences.  
• Work closely with software developers throughout solution design, development, testing, and 
deployment.  
• Create user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.  
• Validate data quality and ensure solutions meet business requirements.  
• Support Agile development activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, user 
acceptance testing, and production support. 


Your required skills must include: 
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a 
related field.  
• 2–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Business Intelligence 
Analyst, or similar role.  
• Strong SQL skills with experience analyzing and validating enterprise data.  
• Hands-on experience developing dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI.  
• Experience building business process automations using Power Automate.  
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications 
and user stories.  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both 
technical and business stakeholders.  
• Experience working within Agile software development teams.  
• Experience using or implementing AI-enabled business solutions, including Generative AI, 
Microsoft Copilot, intelligent document processing, workflow automation, conversational AI, or 
similar technologies.  
Preferred Qualifications  
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, Azure, or modern cloud analytics platforms.  
• Experience supporting investment management, financial services, or capital markets.  
• Experience with Power Apps and Power Platform solution development.  
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile delivery methodologies.  
• Knowledge of relational databases including Oracle and SQL Server.  
• Experience with ESG, financial market, investment, or reference data.  
• Programming or scripting experience using Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.  
• Passion for applying AI and modern analytics to improve business processes and end user experenice.
