Summary
The State of South Carolina is looking for a Database Administrator - Consultant
Why is this position open: New Position. The SCDMV is in the process of migrating 300+ SQL Server Databases from SQL Server 2019 to SQL Server 2022 in addition to a need for Production Support in the current SQL DBA Team.
Interview Process: One Round - Virtual (Camera On Teams Meeting) or In Person. In Person highly preferred.
Duration of the Contract: 12 Months
Possibility for Extension: Yes
Work Location: Position is Hybrid, however remote capability is very limited and the candidate should expect to be onsite five days a week. Remote days are based off of project needs and DMV discretion.
Work Schedule: Weekend Hours and On Call Rotation is to be expected for project needs per the discretion of the DMV.
