Responsibilities
- Support the transformation of tasks into intuitive, accessible, and easy-to-use designs through the entire experience lifecycle, from first-time user to expert.
- Identify and discover customer and business needs through contextual inquiries, generative, and quantitative research; develop solutions to meet those needs.
- Make significant customer impact decisions from a broad range of possibilities across various industries, including banking.
- Design and test visual, information, interaction, and service design elements that meet business and customer expectations, ensuring user delight.
- Evaluate usability of new and existing products, providing constructive suggestions for improvement.
- Create and update documentation and graphics for design documentation.
- Build, fix, and test Figma components; collaborate with content and ADA accessibility partners.
- Design and test Angular components; stay current with competitive analysis of design systems.
- Participate in help desk support and facilitate open office hours, early design reviews, system governance meetings, and cross-team working sessions.
- Research, audit, and prepare discussion topics for governance meetings; contribute to special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience with Design Systems, ideally working on or maintaining a design system using at least on tools like Figma.
- Proficiency in Figma, Jira, Confluence, and Adobe Suite.
- Mobile Native Design expertise.
- Strong business communication skills.
- Experience in collaborative interface design, UX/UI design, and component creation.
- Familiarity with building and maintaining design systems and component libraries.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, critical thinking, systems thinking mindset, and attention to detail.
- 2-4 years of related experience.
- Must include a link to candidates’ portfolios with resumes.
