Summary

Position Title: Golang Developer

Work Location: 100% Remote

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient, testable, and reliable Go code using goroutines, channels, and cloud-native frameworks.
API & Microservices Architecture: Develop scalable RESTful APIs and gRPC services to integrate enterprise systems and third-party healthcare platforms.
Performance Tuning: Optimize application throughput, latency, and memory utilization to handle large volumes of concurrent user data safely.
Cloud & DevOps Integration: Containerize services using Docker and deploy to Kubernetes on cloud environments (AWS/Azure). Integrate with automated CI/CD pipelines.
Database Management: Write and optimize queries for relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
Security & Compliance: Ensure code and architecture align with healthcare data security standards (HIPAA, HITRUST) and secure API design practices.
Agile Collaboration: Participate in sprint planning, technical discussions, code reviews, and daily standups in a fully remote Agile environment.

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills

Experience: 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years of hands-on Golang microservices development.
Core Languages: Strong proficiency in Go (concurrency, data structures, net/http, Gin/Fiber/Echo frameworks).
Cloud & Containers: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and major cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
APIs & Messaging: Expertise in REST APIs, gRPC, and messaging queue systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS).
Database Experience: Hands-on experience with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and caching solutions (Redis).
Tools & Practices: Experience with Git, GitHub Actions/Jenkins, unit/integration testing in Go, and monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
