Job Description:
Position Summary
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for inspecting and testing products to ensure compliance with company specifications, GMP requirements, and ISO 13485 standards. This role supports manufacturing operations by performing visual inspections, documenting results, monitoring equipment performance, and assisting with quality-related investigations and corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities
Perform visual and functional inspections of in-process and finished products.
Verify product compliance using specifications, assembly sheets, sampling plans, and quality procedures.
Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate traceability documentation.
Identify defects and collaborate with QA and production teams to resolve quality issues.
Monitor machine performance and report equipment malfunctions or process concerns.
Maintain compliance with GMP, ISO 13485, safety, and housekeeping requirements.
Follow SOPs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience operating, maintaining, or troubleshooting manufacturing/industrial equipment, including automation systems.
Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Manufacturing or production environment experience.
Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS), preferably ISO 9001 or ISO 13485.
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and troubleshooting findings.
Skills & Experience
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
1-2 years of manufacturing, quality, or related experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Ability to follow established procedures and quality standards.
Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Comfortable working under moderate supervision in a regulated manufacturing environment.
