Job Title: Business Systems Analyst – Unified Communications Platform

About the Role
Talent Groups is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (UC Platform Statement of Work) to support a Unified Communications (UC) platform initiative. This role will partner with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to define requirements, document system specifications, and support the design and implementation of an enterprise UC solution.
This position will focus on translating business needs into detailed system requirements and supporting end to end documentation for a UC platform implementation. The analyst will play a key role in requirements gathering, system design documentation, and cross functional collaboration across development, QA, and system integrators.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing a Statement of Work (SOW) for a System Integrator implementing a new UC platform
- Participate in business requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders and business analysts
- Analyze requirements and produce Systems Requirements Documentation (SRD)
- Document process flows, system impacts, and functional and non functional requirements
- Ensure SRD deliverables are complete and delivered to development teams
- Collaborate with IS partners to design solutions for regulatory reporting requirements
- Facilitate design sessions between developers, analysts, and QA teams
- Participate in peer review sessions and incorporate feedback into documentation
- Design UI and screen mockups to support development and configuration teams
- Support creation of test cases, requirements documentation, and configuration support artifacts
- Track deliverables, manage requirements activities, and provide estimation support
- Conduct requirements walkthroughs to ensure clarity and alignment across teams
- Review QA coverage, prioritize test scenarios, and support defect review and resolution
- Support change control and requirements management documentation
- Work effectively across diverse teams and communication styles
Required Skills
- Experience with Unified Communications platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex, RingCentral, 8x8, Mitel, or similar
- Experience with telephony infrastructure preferred
- Experience with technical architecture diagrams preferred
- Strong experience in systems analysis and requirements documentation (SRD or BRD)
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Experience working in Agile or structured SDLC environments
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
