Mechanical Technician to fabricate, assemble, test, and inspect complex electrical and mechanical products while ensuring they meet strict quality standards and customer requirements.
Job Duties
- Assemble and inspect electrical and mechanical components using blueprints, schematics, drawings, and bills of material
- Install and assemble a variety of electronic components
- Perform manufacturing tasks using work instructions and engineering documentation
- Safely operate hand tools, torque tools, measuring equipment, and soldering equipment
- Perform hand soldering as needed
- Follow applicable IPC-610/620 standards and manufacturing procedures
- Complete accurate production and quality documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
- Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to meet production schedules
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2-5 years of manufacturing experience with electrical and mechanical assemblies
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic shop math skills
- Hand-soldering and J-STD-001 experience preferred
- U.S. citizenship required for work on applicable systems
