Salary Range: $78,000 - $123,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Designs and implements electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves electrical issues in production machinery to minimize downtime.
  • Develops and maintains electrical schematics, documentation, and safety procedures.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate new equipment and processes.
  • Specifies and procures electrical components, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Conducts root cause analysis of electrical failures and implements corrective actions.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) for schematic design and panel layouts.
  • Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
  • Experience with motor control, VFDs, and power distribution systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant electrical safety standards and regulations (e.g., NFPA 70E, NEC).

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with PLC programming and industrial automation systems.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers or lead technical projects.
