POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a collaborative and technically curious Product Manager to join our Platform Services team. This role will play a key part in shaping the strategy, governance, adoption, and ongoing optimization of our Google Workspace environment while contributing to broader platform and infrastructure initiatives that enhance the employee digital experience.
This individual will operate at the intersection of technology and user experience partnering closely with engineering, security, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that improve productivity, strengthen administrative controls, and modernize enterprise collaboration.
The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating technical ecosystems, translating complex platform capabilities into intuitive user experiences, and driving organizational change through training, communication, and enablement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help define and evolve the product strategy for Google Workspace, ensuring the platform supports enterprise collaboration, security, and operational excellence.
- Drive adoption and effective use of Google Workspace through scalable training programs, self-service resources, documentation, and support models.
- Partner with Platform Engineering, Security, and Identity teams to implement governance controls, access models, and administrative best practices.
- Translate business needs into product requirements, user stories, and prioritized backlog items aligned to platform strategy.
- Support the delivery of new Workspace capabilities, integrations, and features - including rollout planning, change management, and internal communications.
- Evaluate platform usage, adoption trends, and user feedback to identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and improved associate experience.
- Serve as the voice of the user while balancing enterprise requirements such as compliance, risk management, and data protection.
- Break down complex technical initiatives into actionable deliverables and partner with engineering teams through execution.
- Assist in developing and executing the platform roadmap, ensuring alignment with broader enterprise technology priorities.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and implementation challenges while driving solutions with cross-functional partners.
- Define and measure success through adoption metrics, user satisfaction, and operational efficiency indicators
- Communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical audiences throughout the product lifecycle
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 3 5 years of experience in product management, enterprise platforms, digital workplace technologies, or related fields
- Hands-on experience supporting or delivering enterprise collaboration platforms such as Google Workspace strongly preferred
- Familiarity with administrative concepts such as user lifecycle management, permissions, organizational structures, or platform governance
- Experience partnering with engineering or infrastructure teams on technical initiatives
- Exposure to enterprise rollout strategies, change management, training programs, or user enablement efforts
- Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at varying levels
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
