Workday Integration Specialist

Description:
Diversified Systems is searching for a Workday Integration Specialist to create and maintain integrations within the Workday cloud-based software platform. The selected consultant will develop integrations with third-party vendors and other state agencies and will be responsible for researching, designing, delivering, and maintaining integration solutions in response to emerging Workday technologies, customer requests, and ongoing operational changes.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and implement robust solutions.
- Perform analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, implementation, training, and support of complex business and enterprise software solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement Workday solutions focusing on Human Capital Management (HCM), Finance, and Procurement.
- Configure and customize Workday business processes, workflows, and integrations to meet specific organizational needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including Officers, Directors, Managers, and Teams, to understand their integration needs.
- Stay updated with Workday releases and new features to leverage enhancements in integration capabilities.
- Adhere to data governance policies and best practices to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality.
- Validate and reconcile data from multiple sources to ensure the reliability of report outputs.
- Document integration requirements, specifications, and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing for Workday solutions.
- Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integration solutions using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, web services, and Core Connectors.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Workday integrations development experience with strong experience in HCM and Financial Module integration required.
- 5 years of experience with Web Services and APIs including WSDL and SOAP required.
- 5 years of experience with REST and Web Services standards, XML, XSLT, JSON, and Java required.
- 5 years of experience developing integrations for both Workday HCM and Financials required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience required.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions required.
- Experience collaborating with functional stakeholders to assess integration needs, gather specifications and requirements, and design integrations for development required.
- Experience developing Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, and Workday Studio required.
- Knowledge of integration security including ISU, PGP Key, and MFA required.
- Demonstrated ability with data migration, integration development, report building, and calculated fields as they relate to integrations required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and collaboration abilities required.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills required.
