Azure Administrator with Cisco

AVD Management: Design, implement, and optimize Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, including host pools, application groups, and workspace configuration.

Image Management: Create and maintain 'golden images' for VDI and physical endpoints, ensuring they are hardened for security.

Server Administration: Deploy and maintain Windows Server virtual machines (VMs) within Azure.

Azure Governance: Administer Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), including users, groups, conditional access policies, and synchronization with on-premises directories.

Storage & Recovery: Implement Azure storage solutions, backup strategies, and disaster recovery (DR) protocols.

Meraki Ecosystem: Configure and maintain network devices (MX Firewalls, MS Switches, MR Access Points) using the Cisco Meraki dashboard.

Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor network health, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and optimize SD-WAN performance for multi-site centers.

Security: Enforce network security policies, including VPN management, firewall rules, and Azure WAF (Web Application Firewall).

Expansion: Plan and execute network infrastructure for new office/center openings to support organizational growth.

Microsoft Intune: Manage the full lifecycle of endpoint devices (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android) using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune).

Compliance: Create and enforce security and compliance policies across all managed devices.

Patching: Utilize tools like AutoMox or GPOs alongside Intune to automate vulnerability patching and application updates.

Cloud: Microsoft Azure (Compute, Storage, Networking, WAF).

Virtualization: Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).

Networking: Cisco Meraki (Full stack), SD-WAN, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, VLANs.

Identity: Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, MFA.

Endpoints: Microsoft Intune, AutoMox, Windows 10/11, macOS, iOS.

Automation: PowerShell, Azure CLI.

Productivity: G Suite (Google Workspace) and Microsoft 365.

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Experience: Minimum 4%2B years in IT administration with a specific focus on Azure cloud and network engineering.

Technical Expertise:

Proven hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki hardware and dashboard.

Demonstrated experience implementing AVD or similar VDI solutions (Citrix/VMware).

Strong background in Microsoft Intune (device enrollment, compliance policies).
