Key Responsibilities: - Define and lead enterprise AI strategy for Expert Functions, Web Properties, and Enterprise Data, ensuring alignment with Nasdaq's global objectives.
- Identify and prioritize AI opportunities based on business impact, feasibility, and organizational readiness, with a focus on measurable outcomes.
- Guide build versus buy decisions using Nasdaq's Return on Invested Capital framework to balance strategic value, risk, and long-term enterprise benefit.
- Advise senior leadership and the Board on AI investment tradeoffs, transformation priorities, and emerging trends, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and regulatory expectations.
- Engage with vendors, platform providers, and external partners to assess AI solution maturity and determine strategic fit.
- Champion responsible AI adoption by influencing governance, ethical considerations, and risk management practices across the organization.
Required Qualifications: - Extensive leadership experience in enterprise AI, data, or advanced analytics, with a proven track record of delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Demonstrated success in setting and executing multi-year AI or technology strategies within complex, global organizations.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to present to and influence senior stakeholders, including Management Committee and CEO-level audiences.
- Deep understanding of governance, compliance, and risk management in AI adoption, with the ability to translate complexity into practical guidance.
- Track record of guiding strategic investment decisions using structured financial frameworks such as Return on Invested Capital.
- Exceptional communication and change management skills, with the ability to align people, process, data, and technology around a shared vision.
Preferred Qualifications: - Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Computer Science, Data Science) or equivalent senior leadership training.
- Experience in management consulting or advisory roles driving transformational change.
- Familiarity with capital markets, fintech, or regulated industries and their unique data and AI challenges.

The base pay range for this role is $172,000 - $335,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual boncommission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
