Currently, we are searching for a Senior Data Conversion Lead Oracle Utilities (WACS) to join our team in a hybrid capacity, with onsite work located in San Antonio, TX (up to 100% ON SITE).
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end data conversion initiatives from planning and design through testing and production cutover in SaaS cloud environments
- Own conversion strategy, project plans, timelines, and risk management to ensure data quality and on-time delivery
- Lead and coordinate onshore and offshore teams; set priorities, delegate work, and provide technical guidance and mentorship
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data mappings, conversion designs, and technical artifacts
- Design and oversee large-scale data mapping, development, validation, and optimization aligned to Oracle WACS data models
- Execute and govern high-volume data loads using tools such as Informatica, FBDI, REST APIs, Oracle OIC, ODI, and data profiling solutions
- Enforce data quality, integrity, and performance standards across all conversion workstreams
- Collaborate closely with solution architects and technical designers to ensure alignment between requirements and system architecture
- Lead conversion testing activities, including mock conversions, dress rehearsals, validation, and final cutover support
- Establish and uphold data governance standards, including data quality metrics, lineage tracking, and compliance with internal or regulatory requirements
- Produce and maintain clear conversion documentation, including mappings, designs, procedures, and lessons learned
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and stakeholders to support adoption and long-term sustainability
- Communicate status, risks, and mitigation plans to project managers, stakeholders, and IT leadership
- Identify opportunities to improve conversion processes, tools, and architecture using industry best practices and emerging technologies
- Support travel as required based on project phase and client needs (0 100%)
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- 5 7 years of hands-on experience delivering data conversion projects, primarily in SaaS or cloud-based environments
- Proven experience leading Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS) data conversions
- Experience with at least one additional Oracle Utilities platform: CCS, C2M, CC&B, or MDM
- Experience converting data from other enterprise asset or work management platforms (e.g., Maximo)
- Exposure to or participation in SAP-to-Oracle conversion initiatives strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead conversion teams, including onshore, offshore, and client resources
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a formal team lead or technical lead role
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills in complex project environments
- Clear, confident communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Regular and predictable attendance
