Business Analyst

Introduction:

The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in large-scale software projects, utilizing their expertise in business administration, analytics, and communication to gather and document business requirements, analyze data, and facilitate meetings with project stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct business analysis and requirements gathering for software projects
• Utilize Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) to model business processes
• Facilitate meetings with project stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback
• Design quality test processes to identify defects in software applications
• Document defects and monitor resolution using JIRA
• Utilize different test methodologies to find defects in IT projects
• Communicate effectively with project team members and stakeholders
• Work independently and cooperatively with team members to deliver assignments on time and with high quality
• Report to the assigned Business Support Program Manager for all phases of the project

Requirements:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related IT fields
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Experience in large-scale software projects
• Proficiency in BPMN
• Experience with meeting facilitation
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Accountability in delivering assignments on schedule and with quality

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• MS-Project and MS-Visio proficiency
• Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA)
• Certificate of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA)
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
• Certificate in Business Data Analytics
• Professional in Business Analysis (PBA) Certification
