Responsibilities

Design and develop secure, scalable backend platforms to support both AI and non-AI applications.
Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to define integration patterns for AI/ML models.
Lead rapid prototyping and pilot testing of innovative solutions, transitioning successful projects into production.
Ensure seamless integration between backend systems and AI platforms, utilizing modern integration patterns.
Define and uphold programming and architectural standards, mentoring teams on best practices.
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards, continuously improving digital transformation processes.

Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of experience in digital technology, including architecture and development.
Proven expertise in backend architecture with languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
Strong knowledge of API design, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
Experience with scalable systems and modern DevOps practices.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

Experience in retail or high-scale consumer digital environments.
Familiarity with AI/ML model serving and integration platforms like Vertex AI or Databricks.
Understanding of observability, telemetry, and AI governance best practices.
Experience with intelligent automation frameworks and conversational AI.
