Technical Project Manager

Job Summary The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for delivering enterprise technology projects across the organization. The role will work with colleagues to plan, design, and execute projects of strategic importance, with an emphasis on delivery, communication, and teamwork in a matrixed environment. Key Responsibilities Ensure technology projects are completed on time, within budget, and with value-added results. Oversee and prepare enterprise technology plans and budgets for functions across the Technology organization. Use influence and insights to help the business achieve its goals and make appropriate use of Technology resources. Develop strategic plans aligned with business plans so that Technology capabilities are responsive to enterprise needs. Work with the Sr. Director, Technology Project Management, to develop and implement PMO processes and policies. Work with department leaders, when appropriate, to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs. Collaborate on the development of PMO professionals throughout the organization. Required Qualifications Strong communication skills with the ability to understand key concepts and communicate effectively with technical staff, business stakeholders, and senior management. 57 years of experience as a Project Manager. Demonstrated expertise in project planning, budgeting, and project management. Experience managing complex upgrades and implementations involving financial or other transactional back-office systems. Experience managing cloud migration projects. Demonstrated experience with software development projects and Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies. Bachelors degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience leading teams of service-oriented technology professionals in a complex environment. Proven ability to build credibility and strong customer relationships as a trusted technology advisor who understands business needs and can balance them with organizational strategy. Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and influence individuals at all levels in a matrixed environment, including external vendors and service providers. Ability to identify and coordinate segregated and overlapping roles across teams and stakeholders. Ability to create a learning environment that supports professional development and enables team members to realize their potential. 10+ years of Information Technology and/or PMO experience. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience working in another business function. Advanced education. Familiarity with Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards. Experience in the entertainment or sports industry. Certifications Current Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
