Principal Accountabilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems and equipment up to 480V and 4160V, including VFDs
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure safe and reliable operation
  • Collaborate with operators, engineers, and contractors to resolve system issues and support project installations
  • Maintain accurate logs of repairs, calibrations, and performance issues
  • Ensure compliance with the National Electric Code and Cargill safety standards

Required Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the united states without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be able to read/write English
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Math skills
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces or extreme temperatures
  • Experience with electrical maintenance, including reading blueprints and schematics
  • Willingness to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends, and different shifts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience wiring and programming Allen Bradley PLCs
  • Familiarity with electrical test equipment for diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of the National Electric Code and industrial electrical standards
  • State of Nebraska Apprentice, Journeyman, or higher electrical license (or equivalent)
  • Associate degree in electromechanical or electrical systems, or equivalent training
