Workday Integrations Testing Project Manager/Coordinator

Not a QA Director, Not writing test script, Not executing testing, Not a Workday Developer, Not hands-on building integrations.

1. Deep Workday Integrations Expertise (10+ years - can flex on this with 8-9 years for solid candidate)
   Must have strong knowledge of Workday integrations including EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, APIs, and downstream vendor integrations (payroll, 401k, background check, medical/dental, benefits).
2. Proven Experience Leading/Coordinating E2E Integration Testing for Large Workday Programs
   Has managed integration testing across complex environments (200+ integrations ideal) not just functional testing.
3. Enterprise Test Governance & Schedule Management Experience
   Ability to define E2E integration test strategy, manage timelines across multiple workstreams, track defects/risks, and maintain executive-level reporting. They previously struggled with schedule this person must be strong here.
4. Test Data & Data Migration Validation Experience
   Hands-on coordination of data staging, migration validation, and reconciliation across environments especially in PeopleSoft ? Workday transitions.
5. Large-Scale Stakeholder & Tester Coordination
   Comfortable orchestrating 100 200 testers and partnering directly with the Workday Integration Manager, HRIT, Finance, payroll, and external vendors.
6. PeopleSoft to Workday Migration Experience (Strongly Preferred / Close to Required)
   Experience supporting a PeopleSoft legacy conversion into Workday, including understanding of legacy data mapping and integration impacts.

Job Description:

• Define & manage overall E2E test strategy covering Integration testing.
• Develop detailed test plans, timelines, and resource allocation for multiple workstreams.
• Establish governance for defect management, risk identification, and mitigation.
• Oversee creation of test scenarios and scripts for Workday Integrations.
• Coordinate execution of Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing.
• Manage Data staging and testing of Workday integrations (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, APIs) and downstream systems
• Validate data migration accuracy and reconciliation across environments.
• Liaise with business teams, HRIT, implementation partners, and vendors to ensure alignment.
• Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and readiness metrics to leadership.
• Prepare test summary reports with coverage, defect trends, and go-live readiness.

Qualification:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing E2E testing for large Workday implementations.
• Over 10+ years of Workday testing (integration) and strong Workday Integrations knowledge
• Familiarity with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and API testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and regression testing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, encompassing planning, scheduling, and risk management.

Experience with Workday implementation projects that had PeopleSoft as the legacy system is preferred.
