Summary

Required Qualifications (Must-Have)

5+ years of experience in data platform, data infrastructure, or backend engineering

Hands-on production experience with Apache Druid

Strong experience with Trino  including query tuning and connector configuration

Kubernetes (K8s): deploying, managing, and troubleshooting workloads in production

Docker: containerizing services and managing container-based deployments

Python: scripting, automation, and operational tooling

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm)

Kubernetes observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)

Cloud experience: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure (compute, storage, networking)

Strong understanding of distributed systems, columnar storage, and query engines

Advanced SQL skills and experience supporting analytics or BI workloads

Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced contract environment

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

Experience with Iceberg, Hive, Delta Lake, or similar table formats

Experience operating real-time or customer-facing analytics platforms

Prior exposure to large-scale, multi-tenant data platforms
