Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced
Epic Radiant Analyst/Consultant to design, build, optimize, and support the Epic Radiant module within a complex healthcare environment. This role partners closely with radiology leadership, clinical teams, technical resources, and project stakeholders to ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable imaging workflows. The ideal candidate will be a subject-matter expert in
Epic Radiant functionality,
radiology workflows, and
integration between Epic and imaging systems.Required Qualifications- Epic Radiant Certification (current)
- 2-5+ years supporting or implementing Epic Radiant
- Epic cupid certification preferred (not required)
- Strong knowledge of radiology workflows, imaging operations, clinical processes
- Experience with Epic build tools, testing methodologies, and change control
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Epic Cupid, Cadence, or Orders
- Background in radiology, imaging operations, or clinical informatics
- Prior experience in a healthcare system, consulting firm, or large-scale implementation
- Project management or team-lead experience
Key Responsibilities:Epic Build & Configuration- Design, build, test, and maintain Radiant components (workflows, orders, protocols, worklists, reporting tools)
- Configure & optimize radiology scheduling, imaging workflows, and modality worklists
- Support upgrades, new features, and enhancement requests
- Troubleshoot issues and provide break/fix support
Workflow Analysis & Optimization- Partner with clinical & radiology teams to analyze current workflows
- Identify improvement opportunities & document future-state workflows
- Translate operational needs into Epic build requirements
- Lead workflow design sessions and recommend best practices
Integration & Technical Coordination- Work with interface teams on HL7, DICOM, modality integrations
- Coordinate with PACS/RIS administrators for seamless imaging operations
- Participate in unit, integrated, and user acceptance testing
Support & Maintenance- Provide ongoing application support; participate in on-call as needed
- Monitor system performance & proactively address issues
- Maintain documentation for build, workflows, and support processes
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Greenville, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80.00 - $85.00/hr.
