Title: Software Infrastructure Engineer (AI Factory Platform)

Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite/Hybrid)

Looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer / Software Engineer to build and operate the production infrastructure powering its AI Factory platform. This is a high-visibility opportunity supporting next-generation AI-driven manufacturing systems used across Meta''s AI devices portfolio.

The selected candidate will own the infrastructure backbone behind factory AI tooling, including dashboards, data pipelines, image inspection systems, cloud services, and production deployments.

Responsibilities

·         Build and maintain AI Factory dashboards and manufacturing data pipelines.

·         Develop and support factory image ingestion and automated image-inspection pipelines.

·         Deploy, monitor, and maintain production-grade infrastructure and services.

·         Manage cloud storage, containerized services, and platform reliability.

·         Support onboarding of new manufacturing sites and scale platform capacity.

·         Partner with factory-side engineering teams on camera, AOI, and station-data integration.

·         Ensure platform uptime, monitoring, and operational excellence.

Required Skills

·         8+ years of software engineering, infrastructure engineering, or platform engineering experience.

·         Strong experience building and maintaining production data pipelines.

·         Hands-on experience with cloud storage technologies such as AWS S3.

·         Experience deploying and supporting containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).

·         Strong background in production infrastructure, monitoring, reliability, and operational support.

·         Experience supporting large-scale production systems and service deployments.

·         Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

·         Manufacturing or factory automation experience.

·         Experience working with image-processing or computer vision pipelines.

·         Python development and ML tooling experience.

·         Experience building web dashboards and full-stack applications.

·         Apple manufacturing systems experience highly preferred.

·         Experience supporting global manufacturing operations.
