Key Responsibilities
- Design and build new cloud-native applications and backend services.
- Develop low-latency GraphQL APIs that support enterprise-wide consumption.
- Build and optimize data pipelines leveraging modern AWS and big data technologies.
- Implement monitoring, observability, and reliability best practices across cloud environments.
- Collaborate closely with a lean team consisting of two full-time engineers and this consultant resource.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong blend of application development and data engineering expertise.
- Proven GraphQL/API development experience (required).
- Extensive AWS experience, including:
- Strong data engineering background with:
- PySpark
- Apache Spark
- Snowflake
- AWS Glue
- Batch processing frameworks
- Experience with DynamoDB and PostgreSQL.
- Expertise in cloud monitoring, observability, and production support.
