Job Description:
Role Overview
- Oracle DBA Maturity & Production Readiness
- Demonstrates the maturity and expertise required to handle production support effectively, strictly adhering to established processes that are critical for implementing and managing changes in the production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Support: Manage maintenance schedules, prepare incident and RCA reports, and provide on-call production support.
- Documentation: Create and maintain SOPs, contribute to the knowledge base, and actively participate in knowledge sharing sessions.
- Process Optimization: Perform workload analysis, identify process improvements, and support efficient task allocation.
- Collaboration: Enable effective task distribution, provide cross-team support, and document issue resolutions.
- Maintenance & Monitoring: Conduct routine database health checks, apply patches, and continuously monitor system performance.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Provide L2/L3 support for database-related issues, including root cause analysis and timely resolution.
- Backup & Recovery: Perform and manage regular database backups, recovery activities, and patching processes.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize database performance through SQL tuning, indexing strategies, and effective resource management.
