Role: Electrical Silicon Failure Analysis Engineer
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)
Responsibilities:
Perform day-to-day activities for device-level and system-level failure analysis.
Conduct electrical fault isolation using multiple FA tools.
Produce technical reports of failure analysis findings.
Evaluate and maintain new equipment and techniques related to failure analysis.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
BSEE with 5+ years of experience (or equivalent engineering/physics degree) and proven track record in IC and module-level failure analysis.
Hands-on proficiency with physical and electrical failure analysis at silicon level.
In-depth knowledge of board-level failure analysis.
Experience with EFA tools such as LIT, TDR, FIB, SEM, RIE, CMP, MIP, decapsulation, sample preparation, emission microscopy, laser-scan microscopy, micro-probing and nano-probing.
Preferred Skills:
Experience using multiple failure-analysis tools and techniques.
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
