Responsibilities
Automation Engineer for Middleware/Application Server ? Duties include developing, deploying, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines used to automate common middleware tasks such as configuration management, server provisioning, application deployment, etc.
Required Skills
Deep experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server administration
Strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, deployment, validation, and release processes across multiple environments
Hands-on expertise in implementing automation solutions using Ansible, including playbook development, configuration management, server provisioning, deployment automation, middleware administration tasks, and operational support automation
Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with automation tools to support continuous delivery, environment consistency, and reduced manual intervention
Proficient in troubleshooting pipeline failures, deployment issues, and automation-related problems in enterprise production environments
Experience working with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar pipeline orchestration platforms alongside Ansible automation frameworks
Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Experience in middleware security and SSL Configurations
