OpenLink Endur Developer / Specialist (.NET / C#)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced OpenLink Endur Developer with a strong technical background in .NET / C# to design, develop, test, and maintain custom solutions within our Endur ETRM/CTRM platform. In this role, you will collaborate with business analysts, trade support, and risk teams to deliver robust custom OpenJVS/OpenComponents (.NET) scripts, plugins, report builders, and system integrations across energy and commodity trading desks.

Key Responsibilities

• Development & Customization: Design, build, and maintain Endur customizations using OpenComponents (.NET / C#) and legacy OpenJVS/JVS scripts.

• Integrations: Develop custom interfaces and web services/APIs using C# .NET to integrate Endur with external market data feeds, risk models, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and downstream clearing platforms.

• Reporting & Data: Build custom Report Builder reports, AVS/JVS scripts, and complex database queries/stored procedures (SQL Server / Oracle).

• System Upgrades & Testing: Support Endur version upgrades, performance tuning, bug fixing, unit testing, and environment management.

• Desk & Trade Support: Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for front, middle, and back-office trading workflows, including trade capture, deal modeling, settlement, and risk calculations (VaR, PnL).

• Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts and Trade Desk Leads to gather technical requirements, create design specs, and deliver solutions in an Agile environment.

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.

• Endur Expertise:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with OpenLink Endur (v16 or higher preferred).

  • Strong mastery of Endur architecture, including Trading, Settlement, Risk, and Operations modules.

  • Deep experience writing and debugging OpenComponents (.NET / C#) and OpenJVS scripts.

  • Solid understanding of Endur database schema, Report Builder, and Connex.

• .NET & Software Development:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core.

  • Strong command of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and design patterns.

  • Experience with Web APIs, REST, SOAP, and XML/JSON parsing.

• Database Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL (T-SQL or PL/SQL), database design, index optimization, and performance tuning.

• Domain Knowledge: Functional understanding of physical and financial commodities trading (e.g., Power, Natural Gas, Crude, Refined Products, or Agriculture).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with Endur v20+ / Cloud-hosted Endur deployments.

• Knowledge of Endur Cloud APIs, Microservices architecture, or CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions).

• Familiarity with Python for quantitative analysis or data pipelines.

• Certification in Microsoft .NET technologies or OpenLink Endur.
