Technical Product Manager (Financial Domain)

Location: Dallas, TX (Local candidates only)
Schedule: Onsite – 5 days per week

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager with a strong background in Financial Services, Banking, or FinTech. This role requires deep expertise in Agile methodologies and Agile DevOps practices, along with the ability to collaborate across business and technology teams.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can execute effectively, influence stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality financial technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full product lifecycle from ideation through delivery and post-launch optimization

• Translate business requirements into detailed product specifications, technical user stories, and acceptance criteria

• Partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, QA, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment

• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning sessions

• Collaborate with finance, compliance, and risk teams to ensure regulatory alignment

• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate roadmap updates, risks, and dependencies

• Drive data-informed decision-making using KPIs and financial performance metrics

• Ensure product vision aligns with overall organizational strategy

• Support Agile DevOps practices including CI/CD, release management, and production support

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Product Management or Technical Product Management

• Strong background in Financial Services / Banking / FinTech

• Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)

• Hands-on experience working in Agile DevOps environments

• Strong technical acumen with ability to collaborate closely with engineering teams

• Experience writing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Proven cross-functional leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with financial systems, payments platforms, risk systems, or trading platforms

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)

• Experience with API-driven products and microservices architecture

• Agile/Scrum certifications (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP) are a plus
