Business Intelligence Engineer - Business Intelligence Engineer III

Location: Seattle, Washington (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Data Integrity Manager to perform essential data management tasks. This role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across various systems and platforms. The ideal candidate will conduct routine data quality checks, implement data governance policies, and support the creation of data reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform data management tasks to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Conduct routine data quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies and anomalies.
  • Implement and maintain data governance policies and procedures.
  • Provide support in the creation of data reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
  • Participate in data audits and assist in the preparation of data-related documentation.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide updates.
  • Leverage Python scripting and SQL querying skills to automate data cleansing processes.
  • Trace and isolate sources of data issues, including cell links, automations, and scripts.
  • Work with the central data analytics team to implement necessary modifications to data pipelines.
  • Assess when to apply manual intervention versus automation for data correction.
Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Experience: 3+ years of experience in a data management or data analytics related role. 3+ years of experience with data visualization platforms.

Technical Skills: Proficient in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet) with experience in advanced functions and automations. Experience with relational databases and SQL querying, including window functions and complex joins.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Python scripting experience, including libraries such as Pandas.
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot and infer causes of data issues.
  • Experience using IDEs such as DataGrip or VSCode.
  • Knowledge of effective data visualization design principles.
Compensation & Benefits

The pay rate for this position is between $53.00 and $63.00 per hour.
