UX Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Chicago, IL that is seeking a UX Project Manager.

Summary:
The UX Project Manager supports planning, coordination, and delivery across multiple UX initiatives. This role partners closely with designers, researchers, and delivery teams to manage timelines, ensure progress against deliverables, and support successful execution across one or more workstreams. The UX PM builds strong relationships with cross-functional partners and helps keep work moving forward efficiently.

Responsibilities:
* Track UX project timelines and delivery across multiple initiatives
* Create project kickoff materials and facilitate kickoff meetings
* Develop and manage high-level milestones and detailed project plans
* Support backlog management, including participation in sprint planning and refinement
* Communicate project plans, status updates, risks, and issues clearly to stakeholders
* Partner with portfolio and UX leadership to maintain and support roadmap planning
* Support projects through defined stages, deliverables, and approvals through completion
* Identify risks and roadblocks early and proactively drive solutions or escalate as needed
* Create and share project status documentation, including timelines, blockers, and decisions
* Track and report on team capacity, utilization, and delivery metrics

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-7 years of experience in project or program management
* Experience working with design and/or UX teams strongly preferred
* Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills
* Agile delivery experience; certification a plus
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Strong organizational and prioritization skills
* Proven ability to build productive working relationships across teams
* Demonstrated ownership mindset with a willingness to go above and beyond to deliver on commitments
* Experience managing multiple concurrent, cross-functional projects from planning through delivery
* Ability to operate with appropriate urgency and attention to detail
* Familiarity with common project management and collaboration tools preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
