Summary

Our direct client is looking for a Salesforce Technical Consultant for a Hybrid Long term contract position in Trenton, NJ.

Note: This is a Hybrid position - 3 Days On-Site, 2 Days Remote - No Exceptions
- Local candidates preferred who do not have to relocate.

Job description:
- Sr. level resource with specialized knowledge & experience in app development (req gathering, analysis, design, development, testing & implementation) with emphasis on Salesforce, Force.com, object oriented programming & Client Server.
- Lead integration efforts of Salesforce & external systems, support enhancements, and serve as Sr tech resource within the team.
- Under the direction of a supervisor in the Office of Information Technology at the New Jersey Department of Education, this position will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions in Salesforce and integration solutions between Salesforce and other external systems. The candidate will liaison with different program offices, evaluate user requests, document functional and non-functional requirements, architect, develop and deploy solutions and ensure that the systems meet the desired specifications.

Experience:
- (7)+ years of experience in application development activities including requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing and implementation with emphasis on Salesforce, Force.com, object oriented programming, and Client Server technologies.

Skill Matrix:
- Experience in Salesforce declarative environment - Required
- Hand-on experience with Salesforce configuration experience - Required
- Experience with Salesforce Web Services APIs - Force.com SOAP and REST-based web service APIS, the BULK API - Required
- Experience with Metadata API - Strong plus to have
- Agile development experience - Required
- Ability to communicate ideas, concepts, and strategies to both technical and non-technical people - Required
- Document application specifications and solutions to satisfy project requirements - Required
- Identify and evaluate vendor/partner software and integration strategies - Required
- Develop and code solutions to specification - Required
- Ability to define the system landscape, to identify gaps between current and desired end-states and deliver a solution - Required
- Ability to lead design sessions and communicate design options to clients - Required
- Identify and implement appropriate testing strategies - Required
- Execute all steps required to deploy/implement the application solution - Required
- Participate in a self directed team environment. Collaborate with project team members and QA on development, customer issues, and security req's - Required
- Experience in Java, J2EE, Struts, JSP, JavaScript - Strong plus to have
- Experience retrieving data from Oracle Database - Required
- Experience creating dashboards and reports in Salesforce - Required
- Experience in Public Sector Foundation - Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree - Required
